My tire exploded just 100 meters from this café. When I told the lady inside about my situation, she went above and beyond – driving to the nearest Italian service herself to call a mechanic for us. Her kindness was unbelievable and will always be remembered. Also, the cafe has a stunning view of a big lake and mountains!

Small café with balcony and view just before the Italian border when arriving from Lugano. Good coffee, friendly service.
‚Angeschlossene‘ Tankstelle. Zu Öffnungszeiten des Caffè kann man das Benzin bar in Euro bezahlen. Dann günstigste Preise aller Tankstellen vor der italienischen Grenze … sehr viel günstiger als die wenigen Tankstellen pardon Touristenfallen am mittleren Lago die Como.

'Attached' gas station. During the Caffè's opening times you can pay for petrol in cash in euros. Then the cheapest prices of all gas stations before the Italian border... much cheaper than the few gas stations (pardon tourist traps) on the middle Lake Como.
